About the Owner

Hi, I'm Scott Williamson — owner of Pellet-Stove-Service.com, and someone who’s been elbows-deep in pellet stoves for over 20 years.

I’ve serviced thousands of wood-pellet appliances, worked directly with major manufacturers, and helped design national cleaning and inspection standards. Whether it’s an old stove that needs resurrecting or a modern unit throwing mysterious error codes, I’ve likely seen it, fixed it, and cleaned it twice.

This blog is where I share real stories, maintenance tips, and safety insights for anyone who owns a pellet stove — whether you’re a first-time homeowner or a seasoned stove tech.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Honest advice about pellet stove safety and maintenance

  • First-hand reviews of common stove models and parts

  • Stories from the field (and a few near-disasters)

  • Clues to help you tell if your stove guy is actually doing his job

  • And yes — occasional commentary on stoves that come in colors

If you’re in my service area and need professional help with your pellet stove repair, inspection, or cleaning, feel free to reach out through the contact page.
And if you’re just here to learn — welcome. You’re in the right place.

Thanks for stopping by — and remember:
A clean stove is a happy stove.

Warmly,

Scott
