  • Each service starts with a thorough cleaning of both the appliance and its venting. A clean stove and vent system are essential for safe operation and accurate diagnostics, as ash, soot, and debris can hide problems and restrict airflow. Cleaning first allows us to properly inspect components, identify issues, and ensure reliable, efficient operation before any further service is performed.

  • Pellet Stove Service Call - $265.00

    This is our standard, technician-grade maintenance appointment, trusted by thousands of customers since 2003. During this visit, we inspect, test, and adjust all major stove systems and complete a full startup cycle to confirm safe and efficient operation. Common issues addressed include no-start conditions, unexpected shutdowns, poor airflow, feed problems, ignition faults, sensor errors, and noisy or failing motors.

    The service price includes up to two hours of technician time. If additional labor is required, time beyond two hours is billed in 30-minute increments at $62.50. This approach keeps pricing predictable while allowing sufficient time for accurate diagnostics and proper repairs when needed.

    Because there are too many makes and models to stock every part, some repairs require ordering components. We do have access to the largest parts supplier in the country, located right here in Massachusetts (we helped build the company), their selection of OEM, OE and AMP parts must be paid for in advance but can be in our hands usually overnight or sooner if ordered by 2pm.

    Back-ordered parts ship directly to you as supply allows. Parts ordered through us may be installed for a $125 flat fee visit when our scheduling permits.

  • End-of-Season Service — What’s Included

    The End-of-Season Service is a comprehensive teardown, cleaning, and inspection designed to return your pellet stove to a proper baseline operating condition before the next heating season.

    This visit includes full cleaning of the appliance and venting system, inspection of installation and safety compliance, and evaluation of all operational components including combustion, fuel delivery, ignition, airflow, and control systems. Door seals, gaskets, motors, sensors, and mechanical components are inspected and serviced as needed to ensure proper function and reliability.

    Minor mechanical adjustments and cosmetic improvements are performed where appropriate. The goal is to identify wear, correct developing issues early, and restore safe, efficient operation.

    Most stoves do not require additional parts. If needed, replacement components are recommended and installed only with your approval.

    This preventive service reduces the likelihood of mid-winter failures and ensures your stove is ready when you need it most.

  • The Hassle-Free-Heat™ Service Plan provides full-season support to keep your pellet stove operating safely and reliably throughout the winter.

    This plan includes a complete End-of-Season Service plus a reserved mid-season visit during the heating season. The off-season visit restores the stove to proper baseline condition through comprehensive cleaning, inspection, and preventive maintenance. The mid-season visit ensures continued reliability and can be used for cleaning, adjustments, performance corrections, or installation of wear parts if needed.

    Service Plan customers receive scheduling priority and reserved service capacity during the busiest time of year.

  • Repairs get expensive. We understand that everything costs more than it used to and probably more than it should. It’s reasonable to question whether a repair or paying for a service plan is worth it. We empathize with that concern.
