A clean Stove is a Happy stove

Pellet-Stove-Service.com

A pellet stove with a fire inside and a thought bubble above it showing a smiling cloud. A clean stove is a happy stove.

I’m back servicing pellet stoves.

Some of you may already know the story—but for those who don’t, here it is.

Back in 2018, I was dealing with chronic arm issues. After twenty years of hands-on pellet stove service, the wear and tear was catching up with me. Around that time, someone expressed interest in buying my business, and I was also offered a position at StoveParts4Less.com to help build what is now the world’s largest aftermarket pellet stove parts retailer.

I do not regret the past six years. I learned a lot and my arms eventually fully healed but things didn’t go quite the way I imagined. The buyer for the business deal passed away during COVID and their parent company dissolved. At SP4L, this year’s recent tariffs went into effect April 2nd, squeezing the budget and they couldn’t afford to keep me on.

So... I’m back. Back with a renewed focus to rebuild my company back up. May of you I have kept in touch with and I’m thankful.

If you’ve worked with me before, I’d love to be your stove guy again. And for those who I have yet to meet…Try me out, truly…your stove will run better than you ever thought possible.

Whichever side your on, I’m offering a $50.00 discount good toward any service scheduled before the end of 2025. At checkout, on the day of service I will deduct $50 from your bill. Let’s stay in touch—and let’s keep those stoves burning perfectly!

Warmly,

Scott Williamson

Pellet Stove Cleaning

When I first started this company, every service call was a mystery. I didn’t know what I was doing — yet. But I figured if I thoroughly cleaned each stove and paid close attention to how everything worked together, I’d start to understand how pellet stoves truly functioned. And if I understood how things were supposed to work, I’d know when something was off.

That approach served me well.

Since 2003, I’ve completed nearly 20,000 service calls and developed hands-on working knowledge of over 153 unique pellet stove models — covering every major manufacturer that’s ever existed.
Most pellet stoves don’t need new parts or major repairs, they just need to be cleaned properly so that each system can do what it was designed to do. This process usually involves removing all components from the stove, inside and out.

If your “Stove Guy” isn’t doing what I’m listing here, you’re not getting the proper service…but you may be paying for it.

Stop Throwing Parts at the Problem!

Poorly trained service techs can end up costing you a lot. Sure, sometimes new parts are necessary — but not always. There’s often a middle ground. Maybe it’s because I spent years surviving in the field without support from manufacturers or dealers, but I’ve learned how to breathe life back into stoves that others would write off.

Bad auger motor? Try taking it apart and greasing the gears. Whole feed system replacement? Maybe it just needs a new bearing. Loud blower? Take a look at that little sticker: "Oil every 6 months."

My #1 priority is getting your stove up and running — as quickly as possible without running up your bill for unnecessary parts.

And over the years I’ve seen one thing hold true: if you commit to the End of Season Service™ and follow the maintenance plan I recommend, your stove won’t break down in the middle of heating season. It really is that simple.

“What’s your stove doing …or not doing?”

That’s the most important question to ask when requesting service. You know your stove better than anyone. If it’s acting up, making unusual noises, not lighting, or just not performing like it used to — I want to hear about it. Simply by listening to your description, I can learn a lot about what’s going on.

Every stove is different. There are countless variables, but all pellet stoves operate on the same basic principles — and that’s where the diagnostic process starts.

In many cases, a deep, professional cleaning and a few precise adjustments are all it takes to get your stove running like new again.

If your stove does need parts, I have access to just about every part for nearly every model — with a few exceptions for units that are truly obsolete.

Together, we’ll create a clear action plan to get your stove back in shape. I’m confident I can fix it — no matter the issue. When it comes to pellet stove problems, the stove never wins. I always find the solution

Service Calls/ Service Plans

My job isn’t just to clean or fix your stove — it’s to help you truly understand it. Maybe you need me for the tough stuff, or maybe you want to watch and learn how to do it yourself. Either way, I’m here to support you.

At the end of every service call, I go over everything I’ve done and walk you through key points: how you’re using your stove, your fuel, your habits — and what they all mean for performance.

This is your Action Plan — a short, helpful review to leave you feeling informed and confident. Whether you continue to rely on me or want to handle things yourself in the future, I want to make sure you're using your stove the best way possible.
